1911 hex screw size

I've been unable to find what size hex wrench to use to remove the grip screws from my S&W 1911. The ones I have do not work so I'll be buying some (8/32?). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I think it is 1/16 inch.

You need a 3/32" Allen wrench. The grip screws aren't standard and you won't find them at the hardware store. The screws are .150"-50 x .250" tpi.
