Holster suggestions for Bodyguard 380
Newbie on the forums - I just got the Bodyguard 380, and I want a high-ride belt holster, a paddle holster, and a shoulder holster. Anyone know of any sources yet?

I hope that Ray at Lobo Gun Leather can get the model/blank for the BG 380. He makes some great holsters. What do you think, Ray? Any prospects for getting the blank?

Bodyguard 380 Holster
I just bought my Bodyguard 380 and contacted K&D Holsters and got this back from Kevin.
Hi:
We do have the S&W Bodyguard .380 on order, and hope to have it soon. So we are accepting orders for the gun.
Feel free to contact us at the point you would like to place an order. You can most easily reach us at our shop. Our number is 813-659-3456.
Regards,
Kevin
K&D Holsters
I have owned 3 of Kevin's holsters and they are great holsters.

I know this is an older topic but I've just completed this prototype pancake for the BG380. Since this is a protype I used a part of the hide that I normally wouldn't and I didn't spend much time on my edges and other details. I'll be doing an IWB next and will be getting someone to help me with testing.
Pictured with a double layer concealed carry gunbelt I make.

I purchased a leather belt holster for my BG380 from Michael Kole Designs. He is at many gun shows and has a website. He has the BG380 holster in stock. Exceptional quality, protection, and fit. Check it out.

I am picking up a BG 380 next monday and I am looking for a holster. Does anyone have personal experience with the BG 380 holster sold by S&W? Smith does not show the back of the holster. Can someone decribe how it attaches to a belt? I don't see any slots in the leather. Bill

Just ordered one from S&W for $53. Have black and tan in R or L handed. Appears to be specially made for the .380.

S&W BG 380 Holster.
Mr.Sig
Please let us know how the S&W BG 380 holster attaches to a belt? I don't see any belt slots. I wonder if they use a clip and how stable the holster will be if they do use a clip. Bill

This was in the description..."It features a one way snap on belt loop for easy on and off and precise molding"...I too am ordering a blk RH for myself I currently also use a cheap universal small semi auto in the pants holster that surprisingly fits pretty well that I picked up at a gun show for 10 bucks! The tag says "Taigear www.taigear.com" I went to their site and couldnt find exactly what i have but maybe you can find it else where.

Holster for S&W Bodyguard 380
If you're looking for deep concealment the Bodyguard 380 will fit nicely in your pocket. One of the finest pocket holsters I found is the "Recluse". It has some very nice features, one of which is the trigger guard pad that holds the pistol in place but doesn't inhibit the draw.Take a look at:

I will post observations of the S&W 380 holster as soon as I receive it as I am sure other members will as well.

Cheap and good
Find yourself a Nokia (older model if possible) phone holster. The ones with expanding sides work best. They are ambidextrous, have a positive holding clip for a belt or inside of a boot top, fit the BG like a glove, and if you can find them (clearance and dollar stores mostly) they are dirt cheap.

I've tried Uncle Mike's IWB Size 0 for the BG380, and it is too snug, in my opinion. I does work great for my wife's Kahr P380 though. Go figure.
For IWB, I use a Remora holster for my BG380. Fits great, works great, and the price is right!

I did a quick Google search on them and am very interested. This might be a dumb question, so please forgive me, but how does it stay in place if it doesn't have a clip? How would that work with loose jogging pants on?

It's a good question. I explained how the Remora holster works in the post at the following link.

Actually, I'm glad for the opportunity to do a little more word-of-mouth advertising for the company. Alan makes a great product at a reasonable price, and he's a great guy. He deserves to be successful.
P.S. I have no affiliation with Remora, other than being a very satisifed customer.

Belt slot is there on back side. It sightly tilts the gun forward. Nice holster.

De Santis makes the holsters for S&W 380 BG,,,,De Santis also makes one called the Maverick, which has a belt clip instead of the quick snap belt release, and sells for $50,, and they are sold out. BUT>>>>>If you go to Optics Planet web site, they sell this same holster for $28 and if you add a $1 or so more to your order, its free shipping. Hope this helps

Try 'Hays Holsters' an individual maker out of Loon Lake, Oregon. He makes them by hand and they are quality items . I bought a S&W bodyguard holster and a Ruger LCP holster. I'm very pleased with both of them. They cost about $45 each....with free shipping. Go to google and pull up Hays Holsters. You won't be dissapointed.

Wow...almost a year now and no one has a picture of the opposite side of the S&W BG380 holster? I see a lot of front --- Reason I'm interested in this one is the mandatory thumb break!

OK, ...is made for S&W by DeSantis. Thanks! Sorry I missed an earlier mention of that. It's amazing how 1 pic can save a thousand words. I do want the S&W version with the Logo.
