Here are three very good YouTube videos on tearing down your 3rd Gen pistols. The videos are not professional by any means but the information was recently invaluable to me for tearing down my 4506.

Saw these last night, very helpful guide -
These pistols are nicely engineered, albeit involved to disassemble.
Just picked up a 915, it's built like it will last many years.'

I have a VHS videotape from Bill Wilson entitled "Smith and Wesson 5906". It covers how to shoot, disassembly, reassembly, maintenance, cleaning and lubrication. It also covers all 2nd and 3rd generation S&W autos. I no longer need it. It is 77 minutes long and in as-new condition.
