Are there other models and manufacturers whose grips will fit a model 39-2? I have a pair of pearl grips, but prefer the walnut, they just feel better. If my pearl grips will fit another gun, I may start looking.

Take a look on ebay for S&W grips.
The model 39, 52, 59, 459, 559, 659 all use the same size grips.

I've seen "tons" of model 39, 59 etc. grips for sale on ebay. Most of them are wood and made in Thailand. They look really nice and pretty original, however, I have never owned any.

I think Hogue still makes them....... also tons of factory wood out there.
