I see plenty of options for the square trigger guard but rarely for the round. If they indicate 5906 would this be a fit for the round. I'm looking for owb options.

a rounded trigger guard 6906 will work nicely in a holster made for the square trigger model.......not so sure if you were going the other way;)...my Stoner holster as you can see was molded for a square trigger guard 6906 but works with rounded on my 3913NL..

Any holster for the 4013TSW will also fit, they are dimensionally identical. I have a Lobo Gun Leather enhanced pancake version that I really like.

Wright Leather Works is one of the finest leather custom holster makers out there. Their workmanship and quality are second to none. They make their complete holster line for the 5906 & 6906.

El Paso Saddlery can do it, D&D Gunleather can do it (Dave Workman - he's on the Forum).

IIRC the square trigger guard was only around for a couple of years vs. maybe 10 for the round.

Round triggerguard will work in a square holster but not the other way around........ I always assumed most " large commercial" makers just made the Sq. trigger guard... for their own and stocking dealers convenience....... custom makers usually ask.

fr3db3ar,

I take it that you're looking for a concealed carry holster. Are you looking for suggestions or info on your linked holster?

No they are NOT identical in size. I own a 6904 a 3914 a pre rail TSW 4013 and a Shorty .40. the Shorty .40 and TSW 4013 are REALLy tight in the carry holster I normally carry the 3914 or 6904 in, tight enough to be difficult to draw with. The 3914 and 6904 are also to loose for me to be comfortable carrying them in the holster I use for the 4013 and shorty. There is a noticeable difference in the frame size between the compact 40's and the compact 9's I own. Enough of a difference that I carry each series in a different holster ( both Don Hume designs BTW).

I own more Galco posters than others. I have spent a lot of money on at least one custom holster. While it is a great holster, I'm not sure whether it was worth the premium.

If you want a belt holster, may I recommend the Bianchi Black Widow #5 it works with all my 3rd generations fits my 915, 5906, 4006. If you prefer a paddle I would recommend the Gould & Goodrich 807400. These both have snaps for extra retention. Just my two cents worth, Good Luck on finding the one that fits you just right.

I have a Milt Sparks holster for my 3914...it is the best holster I own. If you are willing to wait on the production time. Also they will cut belt loops for whatever size belt you prefer! (I don't like a hugely wide belt so mine is for a 1.25" belt.
