72 yr old eyes having trouble with the front sight on my EDC 3906. Tried all types of paint and markers with no luck. Thinking of replacing with a fiber optic, which I love on my new Colt Competition 1911. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Dawson Precision
Dawson Precision S&W 5906 Fiber Optic Front Sights - Dawson Precision, Inc.

Very nice high quality sights. Be sure to select the blade height closest to the factory sight now on your pistol.

They will require a bit of careful hand fitting same as any other dovetail base sight.

Those fiber optics really do 'pop' in daylight. you may even consider blacking out your backsight to 'un-clutter' your sight picture.

Cheers
Bill

What Bill said above. While I don't have Dawson's on my 3906, I have fitted several fiber optic fronts on some of my 5906's, TSW. Makes a night and day difference. Same for blacking out the rears, even though I haven't yet. Use Dawsons/Warren fiber optics on ALL my handguns; S&W, Glocks, H&K....first rate quality and drastic improvement in shoot-ability!
