My shop always takes care of me. Took this in on consignment cheap so offered up to me. I love these gen 3 smiths and although I have a few tactical models, non like this one :) Came with box, 2 mags, all the original goodies …..

Those are nice guns. I have one of them and a non rail early 3913TSW. I carry that one most of the time unless I'm carrying my CS9.

Nice, I have one of the larger 9 Tactical, along with the 40 and 45, and CS9's too. Only down side is low capacity but great guns for sure!

I love the grip stippling and the no-rail looks exponentially better. Only thing I’d change is the decocker, it should be black. That is a sharp pistol!

Nice pick up. That is my favorite 3rd Gen model. Rail doesn't bother me and the trigger is noticeably better on my TSW vs my older 3913. Enjoy.

Why do I say this? Not to start a riot or revolt, but just because it’s true.

If your trigger is better (noticeably better) it’s not because it’s the TSW, it’s because it’s MIM hammer/trigger.

Nice grab cruzans, this is a pistol I think you will definitely enjoy! I switch between a 3913TSW with the rail removed and a nice pre-rail model for carry more often than not, probably my two favorite carry pieces. Like JohnHL, I've also converted a few 3953TSW's with the rail to TDA, so I've got backups to my backups. ;)

I've found the railed 39xxTSW pistols to be the most accurate of all of my S&W 3rd Gen production guns, including examples in the full-size 9/40/45 TSW series. My pre-rail 3913TSW has the best overall trigger though, and that's something I've noticed on other examples as well. Not sure if it's the slightly thicker grip on these early 3913TSW models, or if they received some special attention to detail during assembly, but I do think they have slightly nicer triggers than the MIM components can account for.

The only hard part is finding holsters for your new gun, that rail makes it difficult!

The 3913 TSW is relatively new to my collection, but I have enjoyed it on every range trip since I bought it. It has a different feel than my other nine millimeter guns including my CS9 and I finally understand first hand why it receives so much praise on this forum.

No, that's not stippling. I bought some generic grippy tape, cut out templates, and then cut the tape. It looked good and worked for a while, but the tape stopped holding on the plastic, so I ended up just using the Pachmyar grip sleeves. Which is what the gun has now.

I was working with KSG on getting them to make a set of grips, but nothing ever came of that.

Looks like you stippled the grips on the one in the back??? Seven round mag???

My de-railed 3913TSW has the best "out of the box" trigger of any NIB/LNIB 3rd Gen I've bought. The smooth DA trigger feels less than it's measured weight. And it's accuracy is surprising as well.

With the rail off it goes in the same holster it's brothers fit in.

I've got an OWB holster (Eagle Defender model) for it in the mail from Nelson now.

I've found that the holsters for the Sig 229R will fit my 3913TSW pretty well. The top strap is a bit loose, but not bad. I've also read, but never verified, that the 226R holster will work.

Thanks for the tips. I just checked one of my Bianchi retention holsters for the 229r and my 3913 tactical with rail fits perfectly !
