Halo charging ring on a Model 41?

The Halo has grooves on its inner surface that match up with the corresponding grasping grooves on the SW22. While the grasping grooves on the Model 41 look very similar to the SW22 and appear to be laid in at a very similar angle (I didn't actually measure them), the SW22 slide/bolt is half again as wide as the slide on the Model 41. Definitely not going to work.

The Halo is a great addition to the SW22, but I never personally had any difficulty operating the slide on the Model 41.

I hope you can find something to accommodate your needs.

I can see it for those who have hand/grip issues. Easy to hook a finger in it and use gross motor skills with the arm muscles. Pinching a slide between thumb and forefinger is difficult for some. I can also see it for competition if it's faster for you although I doubt it would be by much. They really are much more use on the Rugers, with their little "ears" you have to grab.

I have plenty of grip strength. The SW22 WILL leave you with blisters after racking the slide a few times.

Those with steel finger tips won't find it necessary.

I put a Halo on my Victory and like it, however, I've never felt the need for one on my model 41.

If it wouldn't be to much of a bother, could you try the Halo on the the 41, to see if it fits? It would be greatly appreciated.

I use the Halo on both of my MKIV's and really like them. The MKIV's are a bit rough on the fingers and prone to pinching when letting the bolt down by hand. The Halo solves both of those problems. Just makes everything easier. I recommend it for any gun they make them for.

Even if it fits, I'd be skeptical about using one on a 41. The 41 can be extremely persnickety. Adding mass to the slide could make things worse. Or, then again, it might cure a cranky 41's attitude.

For the 41 maybe just a few pieces of skate board tape would be a solution.
