Default SW22 VICTORY - TandemKross Upgrades

I purchased this S&W SW22 VICTORY a couple of years ago and have been most impressed by the accuracy and reliability from the very first. I did note the trigger was nowhere near as good as the ones on some of the true target pistols, and began searching for some way to improve it, and also look into any other useful upgrades.

I found that a company named TendemKross had just the items I was looking for. The following is a listing of the products I have added to my SW22 VICTORY, all sourced from this one company:

TK (TandemKross) "VICTORY" Trigger

TK "HALO" Charging Ring

TK "GAMECHANGER PRO" Compensator

TK "THUNDER" Hammer

One item I addressed while I had the gun disassembled for these parts upgrades was elimination of the magazine safety. The following photo shows the bottom portion of the original magazine safety (top portion cut off, and I somehow lost track of it ) installed in the gun. If you leave the part completely out, you will lose the spring loaded magazine ejection feature.

This shows the length of the cut off magazine safety that now will only function as a spring loaded magazine ejector.

The next two photos show how I addressed the one major flaw I found with the parts sourced from TandemKross. That flaw is the surface texture of the TandemKross "VICTORY" Trigger. This very rough texture goes all the way to the edges of the front surface of the trigger, and I found it ergonomically objectionable. To address this, I put a 45° bevel on the leading edges of the trigger face.

Since these photos were taken, I have removed the Dot Sight and re-installed the factory rear adjustable sight. The Dot Sight experiment was a failure for me, as I could never resolve a "dot" and instead always saw a large and distorted "L" lying on its back. This was no doubt the result of the 16 diopters of prism in my glasses, and not the fault of the dot sight itself.

Thanks for reading all the way to the end of my lengthy post!

Very informative and great photos! I was about to buy the PC version with a dot optic but changed to a Model 41. Now I may buy the Victory. The many posts about problems with the Victory sort of scared me off originally.

I just realized I had not listed the before and after trigger pull weights.

The stock trigger pull was 4#-4.1 Oz. on average. With the listed upgrades, the average pull weight is 1#-14.8 Oz.

Thank you.
