Correct Recoil Spring for 4516-1?
What is the correct recoil spring for a 4516-1?
Mine has the dual recoil spring. I ordered one from Wolff, thinking that I ordered the right one.
I ended up getting a single recoil spring.
Any advice on this?

Some 4516-1's experienced various feeding problems, S&W modified these by installing the dual recoil spring and guide rods as used on the 4516-2 models.
The 4516-1 models originally came with a single recoil spring with a .290" diameter guide rod. The modification utilized the dual recoil spring and the smaller .236" diameter guide rod.
Check your guide rod diameter, it sounds like you may have one of the handguns modified by S&W, in that case, if you have the smaller diameter guide rod, you need the 4516-2 dual recoil spring setup.

Assuming yours was converted by SW, it will have a smaller diameter sleeve added at muzzle end of slide to accommodate smaller diameter guide rod.
If I remember correctly the 4516 dual spring setup used the same springs as the 4513TSW and the 4013TSW dual spring setup, probably same as 457 and 4013 dual spring setup,
Last I looked SW factory springs for dual spring setup were available - check Midway or Numrich or Brownells P/N 108660000 Outer and 108670000 Inner

Springco.com has them, if it is a dual spring setup.
Sprinco USA - Springs (bottom of page)

Midway hasn't had the inner spring (458862) for a long time & now it doesn't even show as a valid number anymore.
Unless S&W is still stocking them Sprinco is the best choice.
Otherwise you can go to a flat spring, which has the smaller inner diameter for the .237" guide rod, like an ISMI GLC-18 or GLC-20.
