Default Pistol Caliber Carbine that uses M&P magazines

Think something along the lines of the Beretta CX4 carbine or the KelTec Sub2000, but that uses S&W M&P pistol mags. Preferably a gun made by S&W themselves. And how about some 20 or 30 round M&P pistol mags? Glock has been dropping the ball on the pistol caliber carbine that uses shared pistol mags for years, maybe S&W and pick it up and run.

That sound interesting...my picture of the M&P 10mm with a matching 10mm carbine that shared the same mags would peak my interest. The 10mm lends itself to ballistic flexability from mild to wild performance.

Marlin had those small 9mm & 45 Camp Carbines that were nice compact units and usable for close hunting. A bullpup design would serve as a Close Quarters operation.

I've got the Kel-Tec SUB 2000 in 40S&W, and would love to see a more mainstream design/production of something similar. I like the Kel-Tec for what it is, the ballistics rock but the ergonomics stink. I've been shooting pistol-caliber carbines in 357, 44 Mag and 45ACP/460 Rowland for many years, but the 40 has a lot to commend it, and the 10mm would only be better.

I try CMMG and got
Steven,
We have certainly ran that through the mill, but at this time we do not know of when anything will come to light with it. We would like to break into that market but right now we are only offering the Colt design mags. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help.
Maybe if more people called they would come out with one.
