Hey guys, I'm looking for a one point sling to hold my AR up while I'm walking around at the range or during a SD situation . I'm the type of person that isn't worried about price if the quality is good. What do u suggest. Pics are always appreciated. Thanks

I'm a fan of Magpul's products and recommend their MS3 sling. I've currently got a MS2 on my rifle, but its going to be sold to a friend soon in favor of the MS3. They're a quality, affordable product and I also like the fact that its quickly and easily convertible to a 2 point.

The ranges I shoot at will kick you off if you walk around with a rifle pointed anywhere except down range or up in the air.

Have you tried a one point sling?
In my experience the rifle ends up hitting me in the gonads.

I think there is a reason 2 point slings are so popular.
I like the Blue Force 2 point slings from Brownells at a very reasonable price.

My hate of 1 & 3 point slings stems from my using them at the Sheriff's Office I've since retired from.

As an aside someone of rank decided all our slings had to be the same. So the only orange slings for the less leathal shotguns were 3 point slings, also available in black for our AR's. So that's what went on most everything. It takes two men and a boy to run a 3 point sling.

Some of the cool kids had 1 point slings on their entry guns. Wich I tried and didn't like.

I like the best of both worlds of 1 and two point slings thats why I ue a Magpul MS3. I use the 2 point when I need my hands free and the gonad breaker 1 point for run and gun.:D

Affirmative on JW and TangoFoxtrot. Magpul MS3 for 1 or 2 point flexibility. And it's hard to beat the quality and engineering of Magpul's products.

Tried all the slings and prefer the one-point. Got mine from The Wilderness in Az. Good gear.
