10 round magazine limit upheld in N.J.

Let me get this straight - in NYS, and possibly NJ in the future, police can “posses” a 15 round mag because they are trained. The corollary is civilians, read non-LEO, cannot posses a 15 rnd mag because they are not trained. So, trained or untrained is the criteria for 5 additional rounds. Is that the basic difference? Would Gunsite or other such training qualify you to then “posses” a 15 round mag?
I know the answer already, just thought I’d raise the point.........

Sadly, that "training" also allows active LEOs to carry hollow points, which result in a felony charge if you have any outside of your home or business, or the range.

Keep in mind that virtually every democratically controlled state is a fiefdom. I believe that it was just yesterday that our AG stated that NJ doesn't recognize or honor LEOSA for retired NJ LEOs. In order for LEOSA to be recognized, the retired LEO MUST be engaged in interstate commerce. As a result, every retired LEO in NJ requires the permission of the Superintendent of the State Police in order to carry, and presumably the retired MUST show justifiable need, just like the law-abiding citizens that are denied the right to carry.

Jersey is special.
