1006 conversion info

I am shortly about to aquire a 1006 with adjustable sights in the near future and was wondering where i could get a 40s&w conversion barrel at? I checked bar-sto and the didnt have them listed and everywhere else on the net gives me nothing. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I can't say that I've ever seen a .40 S&W barrel for a S&W 1000-series 10mm pistol, but then I don't know everything, either.

I am not aware of a conversion for the 1006. Would not do it anyway. 10 is expensive to shoot, not to bad if you load your own.

I have read on multiple threads on 10mm.com about bar-sto 40 s&w conversion barrels for the S&W 1006 10mm. I just fgured i go to the experts to see what they said.

Bar-Sto no longer makes the 40S&W barrel , there is a thread on www.10mmtalk.com where we were thinking about having a group buy for such barrels but alas not much came of it . If your really lucky you MIGHT find one for sale on Auctionarms or Gunbroker .

Yeah i have been searching the classifieds for one for sometime now. Very difficult to find and i dont fault anyone for not wanting to give one up!!
