Has anybody used Hornady ammunition in a 10MM Smith & Wesson, specifically a 1076? The round that I am considering is the 180 grain JHP with a muzzle velocity of 1180 feet per second. I have had good luck in the past with Hornady in .380, .40 and .45.

Thank you,

JSS

I put a box through my 610 to see how it shot. Definitely more wallop then the regular 10mm you buy off of the shelf. I kept a moon clip full for emergency use, then I tried the Buffalo Bore. WOW! I don't think I would put that stuff through a semi-auto though, at least not regularly. Stick with the Hornandy, probably plenty.

Schmidty,

Thank you for the input and I agree with your opinion. My range has a maximum 1200 FPS rule, and it can be hard to find 10mm ammunition rated below that.
