Mild to moderate loads involving 115gr LRNFP (.312") in .327 Magnum cases wanted. Small pistol and small Magnum pistol Federal primers with Titegroup preferred. For my 2 1/8" 632 Pro.

Go choice! I just bought one myself!:)

I can not help you with Titegroup however.

Here is some data online that I have been using. Also Lymans cast bullet has data but only up to 95 gr.

I have found so far that I can not get the velocity needed with lead bullets. I bought some 100 gr XTP's as Gold Dots can not be found:(

I like Power Pistol better than H110, 2400 and other Mag powders.

You can "adjust" this data.;)

Thanks! The Speer site also reminded me of the .327 Magnum Federal case taking small rifle primers... which I had forgotten. I'll assume 2.4-2.8 gr Titegroup under a 115gr LRNFP should get it up to 850+ fps - probably not too much for a small pistol primer - I do have small magnum pistol primers, too. Suggestions?

I tried some with small rifle and some with small pistol. No difference in the chronograph worth mentioning.

With lead bullets you are not going to build up enough pressure to warrant using mag primers unless you use H110. I tried some with 2400 and it wasn't any better that Power pistol. Even using H110, mag primer and 115 gr lead I barely got 1200 FPS.. I would have to go look at my notes.

IMHO the only way this round will deliver the claimed velocity is with FMJ bullets.

I have never used Titegroup for any loads so I can not help you there.

Go to the Hodgdons website, they have a lot of data and for Titegroup and the 115 gr lead bullet.

Sorry I can not help you with TG, I have never used it. If you want a nice plinking load in 327 Fed Mag cases, try Trail Boss. It shoots very clean and it is accurate in my guns. You can find loads on Hodgdon Powder web site. One thing about TB is that you can not double charge a case, it will overflow.
