12 ga over and under

The only con I can see is the weight being only 6 lbs, it handles very nice but I'm sure if I had been using 3 inch mags the gun would have kicked my butt.
I didn't buy the gun to hunt with so with target loads I should be fine.

I find the light weight of the Turkish sub-gauge guns a big plus but I use my 28 SxS for hunting.

I worked the gun counter at Academy many years ago while I was in between jobs and sold many of these Yildiz O/U. The biggest complaint was the weight. They thought it was great when handling at the store but after a day shooting sporting clays, they wanted a recoil pad.

Nice! I have a Beretta 686 Onyx O/U and its wood is not nearly as pretty as that! Turkish walnut - very well done!

The wood may not be as pretty, but you now have a much better made shotgun. Of course you paid a lot more as well :)

The model I bought came with a recoil pad it isn't real thick but it didn't seem to hurt my shoulder to bad with target loads.

It's been 15 years at least since I worked there. The models sold back then didn't have a recoil pad at all.

We did have a few returns for broken firing pins and the like, but Briley did the warranty service and customers seemed pleased. I never had a return because of something major like the barrels not being properly aligned.

I can assure you that the barrels aren't misaligned on the one I got not after busting as many clays as I did Tuesday. They did tell me when I bought it if I had any problems with it to return it to the store.
