13-2 help!!

I just picked up a 13-2 with ser.# 3D95xxx.
I looked in my SCS&W 3rd on pg. 399 and noticed that the prefix jumps from 2D to 4D.
Why no 3D?
Am I looking in the wrong place; or is this a typo?

It would indicate that all 3Ds were done in 1978. And since you have very high 3D number it may have not shipped until 1979 when the 4D started. Those are not all January 1 dates. Only a factory letter will tell you for sure.
