Nope, that's normal - or at least I hope it is since every Smith I own with a hammer-mounted firing pin does it!

Good deal on the 3" 13-2 BTW. I recently bought a shooter grade 13-1 4" and paid $400 for it.

In my area, a M13-2, P&R, 3", is rarely seen. They come up for sale so rarely, I could not give anyone a value on them. I do feel that it would be north of $600, if it were only in good condition and without the box and docs. That is just my opinion, and I have not seen one change hands in the last 18 months.
