Found a 14-3 at the local shop it has been fired very little if at all. It comes with box and papers ,the blueing is perfect with only a slight drag line on the cylinder. Serial #8K881XXX so it is a 1975 gun if my research is correct, the asking price is $599.00
sounds like an ok deal just not sure.

I would offer less for it but be advised, like the model 17's, they are on the rise.

I've always thought that Model 14 were under valued in todays market like model 17's were even a year ago. It certainly has changed with the models 17's as they are hot right now and the prices have gone up a lot. I'm starting to see the same thing happening to a lesser extent with the 14's but prices are not as high yet as the 17's.

I think the price you mentioned is OK but at the top of the price range for that model.

If the 14 is unfired, the box is "as new", the papers are complete and the correct ones (often not the case), and it has a sealed, original, complete tool kit, stocks are original to the gun, that is not a bad price in my neck of the woods. You didn't say what the barrel length was, but I'm talking about an 8 3/8" length with TH & TT.

it is a 6 inch it has been fired but from the looks of the gun probably less than a box if at all

Offer less, then place a want to buy add here if it will not budge. Just let the kind folk here know what you want....or buy it if you want it.
The price is on the high side, but someone will most likely pay that for it sooner or later.

thanks for the comebacks I thought it was on the high side, I am going to make an offer, if they say no it wasn't meant to be.
