14-4 rear sight questions

I picked up a beautiful and I would say rarely fired M14-4 revolver that is more accurate than I am offhand. But somewhere before me a savage killed the rear sight straight slot mounting screw every other screw head looks as it’s never had a tool on it. When I was still working I was a machinist and looking at that screw head bothers the hell out of me!
Can a replacement screw be had or does anyone make a good rear sight?

Do you mean the leaf screw, that mounts the front part of the sight? Or did you mean one of the windage or elevation screws?

Either way, replacements are available. Check Midway.

Or.......if you have an older S&W with the "trigger stop", the screw for it is the same.

I should’ve said rear sight “leaf” screw, same thing. But thank you for the advice where to purchase!
