15-22 help.

Hey guys. New to the s&w family and have been thinking about doing a handguard conversion on the 15-22. Looking at the troy trx extreme battle rail around 9" I think. Anyone done this and using a barrel shroud with or without

Check the picture threads, I believe someone has put the troy rail on.
I would put a shroud on, it just finishes the look.

There where a few pics of guys using some diff. Ff guards but none with a shroud combo. There is a youtuber with an 11" troy and kinetitech** shroud. Looks okay but im looking for a 9 to 10" rail with a 6"shroud. If anyone knows of a picture of this setup or has something similar please post a link.

as long as the inner diameter of the hand guard is large enough to clear the shroud, it shouldnt be a problem.

Can't recall where I got this one from but I was so impressed but it I bookmarked it.

That is the guy I was talking about. Pretty much what i want with a shorter version of that hand guard and a longer shroud. Hadn't seen the last photo but that's what im going for. Thanks for the link.
