15-22 Mags

Me three, got the same thing. And all this stuff about placing a 15-22 order with a west coast vendor and getting it several days later ??? I placed one the end of Dec and just get a message asking if I want to be on a backorder list. Moooo hocky
 
Has anyone tried to contact the company president,head of sales or the head of marketing? If so could you please pass along their e-mail addresses. I want to remind them that if they hope to earn my future business, they damn well better find a way of taking care of my current business.

I placed my order on December 28, about 11:00 PM but didn't receive a message indicating that my order had been lost. Of course they haven't provided any information about the order at all.

I realize that they are out of stock, and working hard to get caught up, but they should be able to do the simple math. If you have 100,000 magazines on back order (or whatever the number is) and your suppliers produce 1000 per day, it will take 100 days to fill all your back orders. If my order is somewhere in the middle of the pack, I should expect the order to ship in about 50 days.

For those of you with lost orders, did S&W at least offer to put you back in line based on the date and time your order was placed, or did they simply push you to the back of the line, or deleted from the waiting list all together?
 
Yea I had an order number also. By the sound of the "letter" it looks like our order never was? And not looking like they will honor the order.
 
Well........... since you only wanted 5 but have 10 on the way and since I havent been able to get any in FDE I will be a nice guy and take the trouble of the other 5 off your hands for you. :D

Oh.. it's no trouble keeping them all :) In time, I would have acquired that many anyway - now I just did it in 1 shot (no pun intended).

BUT IF I ever decide to part with some, these forums will be the first to know!

Sorry but I don't understand this matter at all! I can understand a computer glitch but notifying me 12 days after the fact is not acceptable at all!
Once you found out the orders that could not be processed, why didn't you let those affected know or just process the orders then. I would have ordered them from somewhere else instead of having to order them now after waiting 12 days to find out the order was never processed. Extremely poor customer service.  Reason I bought this particular gun and others I own was because of the brand name and S&W reputation. I am one extremely disappointed S&W owner

I think S&W should make it up to you by moving you to the front of the line and throwing in a free mag.
 
I ordered 2 10-25 long mags on the 6th and the rep I talked to today said they should ship in a day or two. Are all of the problems. With just the 25 rounders?

I was not happy. They give you an order number and know you placed an order but they did not have an order. :eek:

Ya I thought that sounded fishy too. I had ordered some from 44mag so hopefully I will receive them and I bought some from my local gun store too. Hopefully everyone that received this email from S&W are able to get mags somewhere
 
I've been trying so hard to find another mag ... I just got my 15-22 and have completed my mods but can't find another mag ANYWHERE ...

I think the S&W site still have the 10/25 rd. mags(25 size but blocked for 10 rds.) and also the regular 10 rd. mags. Good Luck
 
Botach is now sold out, which is good because I was debating paying their bs price.
 
I got in my two 10 rnd mags yesterday from S&W. Ordered two 25 rnd ones from BoTach the same day- they were shown in stock and have not even been able to see a shipment notice on their site when I look into my account. BoTach's link for order questions doesn't work...so far I'm not impressed.
BTW converted my two new 10 rnd mags back to 25 within minutes after arriving and installed load assist buttons bought off ebay.
Since S&W still shows the 10 rnd ones in stock I may just order some more from them...
 
I went back to a LGS the other day and bought their remaining stock of short 10s.
 
I just ordered 2 32round pro mags from promag.com directly. They are still in stock.
