15/22 optics what kind?

they look different, I would say they are totally knockoffs.

the pts mbus still uses the ar15 front sight tool to adjust them. these look like you take pliers or a wrench to it.

but, for the price, why not?

i have a couple of troy clone rear sights if anyone wants them for $30 each shipped.

Yeah I just checked out the dark earth set (better photos) you can tell those ain't up to MAGPUL quality, those are likely unlicensed knock offs.

Ahh well, guess if I want them I'll be spending $90

acm is the company making them and from what ive read they were released before the magpul was.. and ive also read some decent reviews on them.. i guess we will see

True... You never do know.. Even though my ACOG is a knock off and it's just a Red Dot, it's not "bad" by any means.. But as someone who has a very pricey airsoft M4 (built from parts) you tend to learn who the legit manufacturers are, like G&P LaserSystems, MadBull and those companies tend to go through the proper channels and get real licensed trade marks and because of that, they tend to make better parts. My aluminum M4 upper and lower receiver alone was $160 but it's high quality with laser engraved serial numbers, logos etc..

An ACOG is an Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight. I suppose the term could be generically used to describe any of the actual scopes that Trijicon offers. Anything that looks like an ACOG is an ACOG type sight, meaning that it does not say, look like a Leupold 3-9 power long rifle scope.

Actually, that's not true. While there is a whole line of ACOG products, they are of a specific form factor. There are a number of trijicon products that do not fall into that category and have little in common with the ACOGs. (tri-power, reflex, accupoint scopes, RMR, TANS (night vision), and ATWS (thermal sights).

Until Trijicon dropped their original reflex sight it was a ACOG too. I briefly had the 4MOA "Special Forces" model mounted on my M4. Briefly.
