15-22 pistol?

No...

The original didn't have a brace. The recent versions did, but they were dropped when the ATF flip-flopped. Braced pistols are currently legal, but I suspect they're holding off until this makes its way through the courts. No guarantee they'll ever make them again.

Old thread, but the only place I could find it outside of gunbroker, is sportsmans warehouse and they were braceless.
I went ahead and SBR's mine as I like to have vertical grips on rifles.

I recently (Nov 1st) ordered one new from Davidsons Gallery of Guns (online) and picked it up at my LGS 7 days later. Yes, still available and being sold with SBA3 brace installed :D

I looked at the HK before buying the S&W. I like that many of the 15-22 parts are mil-spec compatible: grip, stock, trigger group, etc. The HK is not.

The S&W is showing as available at a number of online sellers...

Just a moment...

I like mine a lot, especially now that all the brace nonsense seems to be behind us... :D

I bought the rifle. Loved it.

I bought the original 6" pistol at a pawn shop for dirt cheap for research on making a SBR. Sold the 6" here after getting my SBR stamp. I made the rifle 4.5" a SBR.

Bought another rifle for friends to shoot.

Then I bought the new 8" brace pistol cause it's the best option for fun. My whole family loves the newer braced pistol. They fight to see who gets to shoot it. I wish I would have taken the ATF up on the offer on a free stamp during the brace witch hunt.

S&W still sells the newer 8" braced pistol.

Edit:
I wish S&W cut the barrel threads @ .400" length for suppressors, now that they sell suppressors. .6" length threads are no bueno for suppressors.

If S&W wont change the thread length, then throw in a .11 cent .2" flat spacer in the box or for suppressor use

Also the pistol does not come with sights. Who sells pistols without sights?

Ruger LC Charger came without sights and I thought to myself, "Who sells a pistol without sights?"
