ok, so first off, i'm fairly new to the rifle community but i do own a handgun. so i took my 15-22 to the range today for the FIRST time and after shooting 1 round, my trigger didn't work anymore! the round extracted fine and another fed fine but for some reason, my trigger wouldn't "reset" itself! very disappointed right now and a little depressed....

is there a problem with my 15-22 or am i over looking something? it just like to me that the extract assembly is extracting the round just fine, it's just going back far enough to reset the trigger. i pulled apart and looked at everything and it seems fine to me.....PLEASE HELP!!! :(:(:(:(

Using high velocity ammo?

You did clean and lube the bolt and carrier before going to the range, right? Lube with a light coat of CLP.

its either not been lubed or the ammo you are using isnt cycling the bolt, if thats not the problem then there is probably a good chance that something brokededed

That's why we're here!

For the record, CCI MiniMag 40GR 1200FPS shoot GREAT! I will find out tomorrow how the Fed Bulk Pack 550rounds shoot :)

I would have to agree with mike on this one. I have been using CCI mini mags since I got mine; however went out yesterday with a buddy and his 10-22 and some federal 550. His grouping at 75 yards was much more consistent then my CCIs. I fired a magazine full of federals and had about 4-5 inch group at 75 yards compared to being all over the board with CCIs. I will now be exclusively using Federals from here on out.

Another 100 rounds of Federal Bulk down range again today. Dime sized holes at 50' for 5-10 round groups. It's all I use in all my .22's.
