Barrel length? Original stocks or not? Overall condition is the deciding factor. $495 is not a bad price for a nice, nickel, model 15 in original condition. Last year I found a 2" square butt nickel 15 for $299. The finish was a little frosted and it had a small ding on the muzzle crown. But after a couple dates with some Flitz polish she shined up nice. I though I did very good on the price.

Again it's like other have said because to me it would have to be near mint with the correct grips to be worth $499. I bought a like new blued model 15-4 P&R last year for $420 out the door. However I have a thing for Nickel revolvers and I would and do pay more for a pristine one.
Nice find. I bought a lnib 15-4 nickel and a very nice blued 15-3 this past year. Paid a bit more for each, but worth it to me. Averaged out to $500 per gun otd.
I bought a 15-4 nickel for $300 OTD at a gun show in February. It's got a couple nicks here and there, it definetly is not going to win any beauty contests, but it also isnt milky and all the nickel is there. It's also got some sort of stamping on it "CCJ" whatever that means. Also had pachmayrs.
