I bought a S & W model 15-3 2" that is as close to new as could be without being new. The revolver had ONE cylinder fired through it, cleaned and put away, has box, paperwork,& tools. It cost me $569.00 which I figure is pretty good for SoCal. According to our bible, it was made in 1977. I m supposed to collect Colts, but I cannot seem to get enough Smiths. There are still a few more on my want list...I just have to find them.;). JS Papascull

15-3... Sorry, my mistake.

When you shoot it prepare to be amazed. It is as accurate as a longer barreled revolver. I am wearing my nickle 2" M15-3 right now. It is amazing.
I love the Combat Masterpeice.

a S & W model 15-2
According to our bible, it was made in 1977.

Are you sure? The Model 15-2 went out of production in 1966-67 and was replaced by the dash 3. In 1977, the dash 4 was introduced. There's no way a Model 15-2 should have been assembled and released in 1977.
