Today is just 3 days shy of 15 months since the purchase of my first revolver. Here's my debut post where I had just bought a 686-3.

Here I am today. 36 no dash, 686-3, 625-10 PC, 627-5 PC, 629-6 PC. Speedloaders by 5 Star. Thanks to everyone, I've learned a lot from the site.

Revolvers are addicting.
I was a dyed in the wool semi auto guy, My first revolver was a 6" 629-1.
Since then I have had 21-4 and 22-4 Thunder Ranch revolvers, 2 taurus 445 .44 specials, 2 629-6 2.5" fixed sight snubbies, and an Astra Terminator .44 mag snubby.
I am not only a wheel gun guy... I am also a big bore snubby guy.
WHO KNEW?!?!?!

You've caused me to pull out an old receipt. 15 months and 1 day ago, I stopped at my usual shop...just to say hello. After some chit chat, he says "Take a look at this". It was a near new 27-2. Couldn't leave without it.

I've added a few since that day. All are at least 30 years old except for my 29-3.

I may need an intervention.

Jeeez dude, you've been scratching quite and itch.

Nice collection.

I love the grips on the two on the top right. I'd love to have an eight shot .357 with those.

The slope is steep and slippery once you start and there is little inclination to go back up hill you once you start.

Great looking collection and I would expect it to continue to grow.

What a great collection. I also like the grips on the 686 and 625.

Since those grips were not on the 686-3 in your original post, were you able to buy them separately. I haven't seen any for sale like that for a K/L frame.

Could be worse. I know a guy with more than one Glock.

Okie John

John, if he's really a friend of yours, you need to get him some help. Maybe get together with some more forum members and have an "intervention.";)

jesseg---those are some seriously good looking S&W revolvers you have there!

I love the grips on the two on the top right.

Thanks, 6pack. I got them from S&W. They're only $50 each, the part number is 414170000. They're called "walnut Performance Center grips", or something similar.

Thanks, jpwhel. Those are actually the same grips in my first post; the original combat grips on the 686. The 625 is wearing Eagle Secret Service grips. They look cool, but are horrible to shoot with; at least for me.

jessegpresley, Excellent collection and thanks for the link to 5 star.

They're nice speed loaders, so much better than the plastic made in China ones elsewhere. I first saw them in exfebee's post here.

And since everyone likes pictures, here's one of my 627 UDR and a portion of a Nighthawk Custom Predator II 1911 during a pause at the range on tuesday, just for the heck of it. Two different times a guy came over during my range session to ask what I was shooting that was so loud; they were very polite about it.

Addiction is an understatement!

Nice collection! It would be 6 mos. this Oct. since I bought my very first firearm which was a Ruger GP100. I jumped into reloading about 3 weeks later and it's been downhill from there :D I've bought 6 more revolvers since then but through consignment sold 2 to make the gf happy  I love shooting 44 mag, even have 2 in that cal. - a Ruger SRH Alaskan and a S&W 29-3, but then I came across a beautiful .480 revolver which I just had to have and has me considering the black art of bullet casting now :D
