For what it's worth, it's in Puerto Rico, the seller is a newbie and there's no bids. (and likely won't be.

stainless steel six shooter used mostly for defense. will fire about anything from mild 38 special for target practice to hot stoping 357 mag for defense or hunting. very clasy.
Is $400 a good price for a "security six" type Ruger? Sounds a little high, and when the shipping is added in, way overpriced.

My daughter lived in San Juan for several years, and I sent her a lot of stuff (y'all know they ain't got no grits in Puerto Rico?). I found out that FedEx and UPS think it is a foreign country. Every time I went to one of them, they wanted to know what was in the package, and the value of the package, so they could fill out Customs forms. "Don't need Customs, dammit, Puerto Rico's part of America!" They didn't care. So if he's gonna send it through Customs, and have to pay duty on it, maybe 150 ain't too bad. 'Course, if he's an FFL, he can mail it for 8 dollars. Post Office is aware that it's America.

Also, getting a gun ONTO the island almost takes an act of Congress. Maybe getting one OFF is just as difficult, which means expensive.
