LGS has a 96% clean 1500 with a light barrel and fine tapered schnable forend stock. Metal looks good, action is smooth and tight, and the walnut is gorgeous. Comes with rings I don't hunt anymore but would love a reason to buy it. So what kind of accuracy would I expect? Anything I should know one way or another? Sorry if this has been brought up before but a search turned up cold.

oh yea, OTD price is $425.

This game has little to do with need. Do you like it? Can you afford it?

I feel if you like it and want it buy it, we only pass this way once.

I'm not going to ly on my death bed saying i wish a, could of, should of, if i can afford it i'm doing it now we only get to go around once in this life. Plus remember who dies with the most toys wins.

Got to love those 30-06 rifles..............

100gr plinkers to 220gr monsters that will kill anything in the USA !!

If you don't have one,get it..........you will never be sorry, even if you have to sell it later on.

I realize this is an old thread, but I just saw it. Did you buy the rifle? I hope so. I have a 1500 in 30-06 that I bought last October because I collect S&W, put an S&W scope on, and it shot cheap Serbian ammo from Academy to MOA, so I got a friend to take me deer hunting and I had success. $450 is a decent price now, although it would be high in normal times.
