Tested out three more loads with IMR 4895 with military brass
again at OAL 3.19 with a light crimp.
Loads were 46grs, 47grs and a maximum of 48grs with the
47gr this time with a WLR primer to see if it would out do the 47gr
load with the cci200 primer.
I was really hoping that the 46 or 47 would get the best groups
in order to save powder and keep the fps down but that did not happen.
the 46 was 2.5" across, the WLP was 3" across and the load with all the powder...............
that I did not really want to win at around 2710 fps...... had top billing..........
but I think I can live with it with the extra energy and less drop
at longer distances.
(charges corrected...... thank you )
