1700LS Manual & Mfg. Date

I just picked up a S&W 1700LS serial# LS04XXX chambered in .270win. I was looking to find a MFG. date, value, and also an owners manual. Thanks in advance!!!!

The 1700LS was introduced in 1983 and discontinued in 1984 when S&W dropped their long gun line. Calibers available were 30-06, .270 Win. and .243 Win.
Value? I have my 30-06 insured for $500 and there is .243 listed on Gunbroker for $750, but I have not seen any that have sold recently.

I think my manual is in the box in the back of the closet where I put 20 years ago. I'll see if I can get to it and post some scans of it.
