So you can use it in a compact? Why - X Grip - of course . But the down side is if for carry the slide on "gap filler cn move around and maybe keep you from getting fast clean mag swap . Better to buy an extension if for carry / back up or matches . Look before asking - Mag Extention

A simple fix for the sleeve slipping: a dab of Silicone glue/caulk 1/4" up from the bottom of the mag wall.
Silicone glue is not 'permanent' and can be easily removed.

Keep an eye out on Ebay. I recently purchased a bunch, nigh onto 35 now, 17rd LEO trade ins, appeared BNIB by the way. I found my spacers on Ebay from a seller out of Florida, they were genuine S&W OEM part, I paid 4 bucks each plus a grand total of 8 bucks for shipping as they shipped all at once.

I put a layer of masking tape around the bottom of the mag to tighten up the fit of the sleeve.
I tried them, they slipped upwards. Took them off and have no issues using the mags without. I carry with the 15, use the 17 for the reload. It looks bad, but who cares about the looks on a reload mag? It functions just fine.
