I turned down 1250 for my 1906 SAA and this should be worth more than that one is, at least it is about 50 years older.

Not really. Age only counts between same models of guns. (and even then not as much as you might think.) SAA's are worth more than 1858 Remington's in comparable conditions.

Be gentle with the wood. They were individually fitted by buffing.
