I picked a 1899 Hand Ejector at the FT Worth Gunshow today.

Ragged cosmetically but right mechanically.

I believe it may be very early in the series as the serial number is 7464.

No caliber mark that I can see, but it accepts a 38 Spcl perfectly.

The stocks look original to me, they are in nice shape compared to the patina on the old piece.

I paid 275 and I am happy with it.

Lots of members here love the Model 1899. It started it all for one of the most prolific models of revolver ever made. The early 38 revolvers did not have caliber markings on them, probably because until the 32-20 was introduced, there was only one K frame caliber available.

Your serial number could have been shipped around 1900.

Let me add that there is a thread started by Mike Priwer that is tracking markings on Model 1899 barrels. Go to the last post on this link to get the updated list. Your serial number places it just before the factory started stamping calibers.

Thanks all !

In addition I grabbed a nice old Heiser N Frame and SD Myers Border Patrol style holster!

A hand full of 586 HKS speedloaders dirt cheap.

I gave 5 bucks for the Myers And 10x that for the Heiser.

A great day !
