Was at the Salisbury Gun Show today and picked a 19-1 (too bad someone bobbed the hammer), but overall she's in pretty nice shape. Serial # K459601, if I'm reading my book right I put at 1961. But, the other find was a Gerber Mark I pretty much new in the box.

Great finds

I used to carry a Gerber Mark I in a cowboy boot way back in the day. In fact, so did my two older brothers. This was the time that corduroy boot cut pants and good old cowboy boots was the thing to wear so I am dating myself. I also drove a wood paneled car at that time.

Nice find on the 19-1. Hammer can be replaced like others have said.

I carried this Mk II in my combat boots every time I put on my flight suit from 1979 to 1992. Notice how the leather conformed to the curve of my ankle. I retired it in '92 because the razor sharp blade was cutting through the leather.
