A couple Symposiums ago I acquired this Class B factory engraved 19-3, thank you Jim Brewster. At this year's Symposium Keith Brown had some beautiful carved N frame stocks for sale which I missed out on, but he also had a set of K frames in Claro Walnut. I think they look pretty good on this 19-3 (thank you KB) which may have been engraved by Paul Piquette but has no engraver's mark.

What’s going on with the barrel rib on the left side? Looks almost gouged.

I think the grips look great however the original smooth Goncalo Alves target stocks probably look awesome too.

I prefer the look of smooth grips on an engraved gun.
I think the KBs would stand out more on a non-engraved gun. The theme of the grips seems to conflict a little with the engraving style.

You may be right, more options to try. Now, if I could just get RKmesa to turn loose of one of his K frames with the oak leaf motif. . . . .
