Can anyone help me with a DOB for a model 19-3 with Serial number: 9k220xxx
It has a 6" barrel, blued and got a wonderful smooth action.

I'm a little confused because the 19-4 came out in 1977 and I would place yours based on the serial number in 1976.

The correct range for 1976 is 9K10001-9K99999. The confusion is your serial number seems to have one to many numbers in it ?? Is your serail number actually 9K220XX.
