19-3 ejection problem

I have a (new to me) 2 1/2 in md 19-3. Shot it for first time yesterday and after shooting 6 rounds and opening the cylinder the spent shells did not want to eject. Push the ejection rod and it would not move. after a few seconds of cooling off the rod pushed easy and shells ejected. It did this several times but not every time I shot. Ejection rod seems to work normal and does not stick when firearm is cold and has not been fired. Using new Speer 158 gr lawmen 38 +p ammo. It seems like the brass shells expand a little from being shot, cool a few seconds and the eject fine. Shot some Remington 357 which ejected fine and shot the Speer 38 in another gun and they ejected fine. Any Ideas or could something be wrong with the cylinder in the Md 19 ?
 
Many of my S&W's have needed the edges of the cylinder charge holes deburred. The burrs are so small, sometimes you can not even see them under magnification but they can really wreck havoc with ejection.

The edges of the extractor star don't need the deburring but the edges of the cylinder charge holes very well might need the treatment.
 
Usually this problem is the other way around and very common. The magnum length brass will not eject from a revolver that has had 38's fired in it. Color up some brass with a felt marker and inspect the marking on the brass after being fired and ejected should show you right where there is any interference. Depending the results of the inspection I may polish the cylinders and maybe a very light chamfer.
 
the rounds seem to fit tighter in my 19-3 than in my 686. Dont think I will ever have one stick in the 686. I too have had a couple rounds not want to eject easily with the 19. I thought it was because I was reloading and maybe one or two rounds werent he right size. That could have been part of it, but a factory load wanted to stick too.....nothing severe. I never deburred and it hasnt happened for a long time. Now I am thinking it has to do with the pressure. .357 factory loads used to be hotter (back when I first got the gun) now they are less.....
