I recently added a Model 19-3 2 1/2 incher to my growing stable of Model 19s. It had the original box, paper work and accessories which was a plus. The condition is just right for a gun a plan on carrying and shooting. My other two 19 no dashes are kind of safe queens; with one that has never been out to play ever I think.

The new to me 19-3 is one fun revolver to shoot.

the 2.5" 19 is one of my favorites to shoot. it is surprisingly accurate too.

Just noticed that your pictured 19-3 is P&R. I thought the P&R ended with 19-2 models??????

That's a really nice 19 snubby man. I can see myself acquiring one of those for edc before going with a J frame as it won't beat you to death and has 1 extra bullet. Maybe after I finish getting my 27 collection finished with.

Nice family! I have a 19-3 2.5 incher which a previous owner had nickel plated. Can't find an N on it anywhere. Every thing was nickeled. Hammer, trigger, sights. Sounds terrible, but its actually pretty nice. Whoever did the job, did it well. Pretty good shooter also, at least as well as I do! It is also pinned and recessed.

So, now it is time for a holster for the new to me 19-3. I would appreciate any good recommendations for this old short fat guy.

I have a 19-3 that I used to carry off-duty. Probably the second-best (IMHO) carry K frame ever. After the 3" 13.
I think I'll get it out tonight and shoot it some this weekend. It always was a better shooter than I could make it.
