Looking at 19-3 at local gun dealer. 85 to 90% gun with targets, dirty but in nice shape. sorry no pics yet. the asking is 650, i'm thinking more like 550, any help or comments appreciated.

I paid $600 for a 6" 19-3 in nice condition about 8 months ago. I think that was just a little high but I really wanted a 19 again.
Price is what the market will bear. I'm in Indianapolis. Around here, $500- $550 would be about right.

Here in Mid-Michigan, I got a 19-3 that sounds like a twin sister to yours for $350 out the door. That was just shy of two years ago. As was already stated regional pricing can vary quite a bit. I don't think that I would sell mine for less than 450-500 if that is any help.
I've learned the question to ask myself is will I be happy with my purchase after the fact. If I get 500 dollars worth of fun out of a 500 dollar gun then I'm happy.

Jungle George, GREAT advise. Simple and to the point.
To the O/P, I think the price a somewhat high, but all M-19's are going up in price very quickly. As others have said before, "you did not pay to much you just bought ahead of the curve."
