A great gun at an even better price. Congratulations. I bought a 19-3 2 1/2" nickel in April and paid $600 for mine. I continue to be amazed by the gun's accuracy. For my money, it's the perfect revolver, compact, accurate, and capable of handling a wide array of ammo. I left the service grips on mine. For whatever reason, those skinny grips fit my hand perfectly.

Great gun. In the early '70s I had one, and wish I still did. In those days the performance ammo was very unrefind. I bought one and on the way home I stopped along a dark road and fired 2 round of 110 gr. Super-Vel .357. I lost my night vision for several minutes due to the huge bright yellow-green flame. If I still had it I'd be shooting .38 Spl ammo having a low level of flash. After reading this forum I have been "pushed" to buy two S&W revolvers in the last month. Now, I am looking for more.... save me.
