I have a 1902 1st change that is a parts gun. The barrel is slightly bent and so is the frame. It has a nice set of stag grips on it. I got it years ago with some other stuff. Wondering what would be a fair price. I hope the pic downloads ok.
Let's see, missing the original stocks, been buffed, Oh ya, it will shoot around corners. Sorry Joe, but it will be hard to sell for any more than the parts are worth. If it was aligned and functioning, maybe $250 - $300, but in its present state, less than $200 would be fair. The money is in the parts, so if parted out on ebay, might end up with double that value.
The stags will probably bring $150 on Ebay. Depending on how "bent" the rest of the gun is, range of value could be from $50 for the usable parts to maybe $150 for a truck gun, if the gun is a shooter as is, if the action functions. Ed.
Here is a closer pic of the frame/yoke gap and barrel to cyl. front lock gap. I got it as a wall hanger, but it functions and of course dosen't shoot to point of aim at all. The single action part of the sear is bad, but it locks up and works in DA. Thanks for the info on price. I thought I would put it on Armslist as a set of stag grips for a 1902 with lots of spare parts. The cylinder and most internal parts are in very good condition.
Well, if the hammer and trigger weren't plated, you might could get $200 for it as a parts gun. They are probably the most sought after pieces after the trigger return lever/spring
