1904 .32 Hand Ejector?

Hello. I've spent the past 5 hours or so trying to find this revolver and I can't seem to find another just like it. I think it's a 1904 can you guys help confirm this? And maybe a value? I figured you guys would at least like to see it. Sorry for the poor pictures my camera battery was dying and I couldn't get the serial number pic but its 11xxx on the bottom of the handle. I will also share how I got it. Last Saturday I bought a 14' John Boat for $20 at auction I listed it on CL for sale and some guy offered me $20 cash and the revolver for it SWEET!

Welcome to the forum. That is a .32 Hand Ejector Model of 1903 (or Second Model) with a 3.25" barrel. It looks to be in pretty good shape.

This model was introduced in 1903 at serial number 1 and continued to be made until some time in 1904, when it was supplanted by the Model of 1903/first change at serial number 19025. It is a reasonable guess that your gun was shipped in late 1903 or early 1904.

The .32 Hand Ejector series was introduced in 1896, but it is one of the rare S&W Models whose serial numbering was reset when the much-modified second model was introduced.

The nickel finish looks a bit rough, but overall pretty intact. If there is no typo in your number, you probably made a couple hundred dollars on that deal. I got the one pictured below (shipped 1903) last summer for about $220.

Yeah it could use a cleaning for sure. No typo just 11xxx. A free 112 year old S&W that's awesome. It came with 2 bullets. I shot them both

The nickel plating is in much better condition than it appears. A good cleaning of the surface scum and tarnish will not hurt the finish or its originality. The proper polishing products of choice for cleaning are Mother's Mag wheel and Flitz.
