Nobody seemed interested in this 1905 Model, so I put in a fairly low bid through Proxibid and got it for less than their estimated minimum, so I feel good even though fees and shipping may add another $200.
Even so I just thought it looked really cool and appears to be lightly used. All #s match including penciled grips. Description says pretty close to excellent.

Only had 2 pics.

Description:

Cal. 38 Special. S# 373611. Bbl. 6". Matching serial numbers on frame, barrel and cylinder. Fixed blade front and notch rear sights with case colored hammer and trigger. Factory diamond walnut grips are pencil numbered to the revolver. CONDITION: metal surfaces retain about 95% factory finish with a few scratches on the cylinder that show bare metal. Case colors are strong as is the checkering on the grips. Bore is near excellent, bright and strong. (22-5328/CW). CURIO. $400-600.

It was a beauty and I was watching it. I think you got it for a good price in the beautiful condition it is in. It was one of the true bargains in that auction! Congratulations

Yep, that's a gorgeous early post WW1 M&P. I'm willing to bet it shoots as good as it looks. If it's been shot before, then it deserves to have a few rounds down the pipe.
You post says 6" barrel, but the pic makes it look like 6 and a half.
