wouldn't mind one of these. stainless would be the best finish. would go with my gold cup 10mm.

I have a Dan Wesson 1911 in 10mm, it is a GREAT Gun. If the tightest 1911 I have ever owned. If I do my part it is also the most accurate. I would highly reccomend them.

EAA Witness Match are nice pistols too and reasonable price.
Never shot their 10mm but would like to.

I have one of the Witness Match 10mms. It is an excellent shooter, although it weighs 9 ounces more than the EAA literature claims. (43 oz. vs. 34 oz.). Mine is currently in the shop to get BHP cuts on the front of the slide, and I have new, thin Macassar Ebony grips coming from Omega any day now.

Sorry about the thread drift. I like the OP's idea, too.

I got a Kimber 10mm that came with adj sights. Last time I wrote them they plan to continue making them. I never thought I'd stray from Colt in a 1911, but I'd definetly get another Kimber before I get a Smith 10mm. I'm not saying the Kimberr is better, just a personal preference. It's more "1911" for my tastes.

Last year I put adj nite sights on it and a Crimson Trace laser grip, carbon fiber chainmail pattern. At any rate, there's an option. Don't hold your breath for Smith.
