Hello Everyone,
I finally got to take my sub compact to the range today and it turned out to be everything I had hoped it would be.
I had 2 failure to feed issues in the 1st 20 rounds as the gun was settling in ( a little thumb pressure on the back of the slide did the trick and returned the gun to battery) and then it was smooth sailing from then on in.
I fired 3 brands of 230 grain FMJ with the Speer performing slightly better than Remington or American Eagle, giving a nice tight 3 inch 10 round group at 10 yards. As I got a little more comfortable with the gun I pushed the target to 25 yards and fired a pretty respectable 10 round hand sized spread. I am hard pressed to do better than that with my H&K p30L 9mm or my Sig p229 in either .40 or .357 sig.
The recoil was a hand full but not so much that I could not shoot heart size groups one handed with both on and off hands at 10 yards.
what a great gun, I love it!!
IB
