Hey All,
I've been on somewhat of a binge regarding 1911's...
Bought a Springfield Mil-Spec, Springfield Operator and a Dan Wesson CCO in the past month or two...

Range time has been limited, but have been slowly breaking them in. Nothing drastic to report and they all function and are as accurate as the shooter!

I love them and think that they are a fantastic platform in almost any caliber. I presently own two but I have had and sold many over the years. I carried a 1911 for probably 25 of my 36+ years in LE. I have man¥ other platforms to choose from but they are still a wonderful and very effective weapon.

They multiply.
I bought a stainless Colt in 1994 in Elkins, WV, while flunking out of college.
It became many 1911s, but these are the ones that stayed.

The 1911's are great. Sometimes, I feel that they are a bit "heavy" to carry all day long in a CCW mode.
