1911 English Walnut grips

In the 80's and 90's I built 1911's from parts. That is only 9 pair of grips. I would buy grips by the dozen, and get a big discount!

They are the same amount of work to make pretty or ugly/plain so I would select pretty when possible.

But I still don't understand why you didn't just buy them all?

Ivan

Would these be for show, or use? For use I would personally prefer checkered.

Also, I'm used to seeing a cut-out for clearance of the magazine catch that I'm not seeing on these. For show it may not matter, but for use it may mean needing to remove the right panel to remove the magazine catch.

I'm liking the more subtle grain of the top center and second from right bottom.

Well Ivan, I do not need them all. Maybe 2 ( have 2- 1911's). There is another tray of grips that are very nice, but I out ruled them. These are a bit better

Probably more for show. I do have checkered grips foe both guns. These are at various stages of completion. They are works in progress
